And the Artists who made Brave New World happen ...

The Jeanna Salzer Trio...

"Salzer is blessed with a voice that belies her young age." She sings with an authority and authenticity that seems to have little place in the world of contemporary pop music. It's clear that she has been influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon and James Taylor. Yet Salzer is not content to simply revisit the past. Decades and genres collide on the up-tempo track "Take it All," a song in which Salzer crafts a sound that combines her appreciation of the '70s singer-songwriter with the aesthetics of modern alternative rock (think Fiona Apple and Natalie Merchant)." -- excerpted from the Shepherd Express, where she won both Acoustic Musician and Vocalist-Female in the Best of Milwaukee. Jeanna, who hails from Milwaukee, WI and is a third-year student at Alverno College. Her first single, "Take it All", is getting great air time on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee. Jayne the Phoole ...

- Milwaukee is the only city in the U.S. with an official municipal Court Jester, and Jayne is that Phoole. Created and inhabited by Milwaukee actress, comedian, and personality Ann-Elizabeth Shapera, Jayne recently received second place in the International Jester Tournament at Muncaster Castle, England. The Rhode Sisters ...

or at least 2/3 of the Rhode Sisters, plus Chase! Molly and Alissa Rhode will be joined by Chase Stoeger to bring their melodic magic to Brave New World. Molly and Chase are musical and theatrical favorites at the Skylight and other Milwaukee venues. Damien Jaques says "The Rhode Sisters thoroughly charmed me ... Their comic patter was cute, and their harmonies quite beautiful."

T. Stacy Hicks as William Shakespeare ...

T. Stacy Hicks has been seen on stage all around town, most prominently with Milwaukee Shakespeare but also with Milwaukee Rep, Renaissance Theatreworks, Quasi Productions, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, and most recently as Tennessee Williams for Uprooted Theatre's A Streetcar Named Desire. He is currently teaching and choreographing as a Guest Artist at UW-Whitewater. This spring he'll make his debut with Youngblood Theatre as Ariel in Spirits to Enforce.

Patrick Schmitz ...

Milwaukee Funny Man Patrick brings his improv, stand-up, and crowd-control skills to Brave New World as Master of Ceremonies. Local audiences have rolled on the floor laughing at his "Rudolph the Pissed-off Reindeer", his work with "Sketch-22", and his performances with the late "Gentleman's Hour". Patrick molds the minds of the young and impressionable as an Improv teacher at First Stage Children's Theatre.

"Meanwhile" Improv Comedy ...

Andy North and company use long-form improv to create riotous stories. A rabid fan says that on an off night, they're merely very funny. But when they hit, they're absolutely hilarious. Either way we win!

Philip Earl Johnson...

Brash, bold, and brazenly funny, Philip Earl Johnson - and his alter ego, MooNie the Magnif'Cent - have bowled over more than two million people with his antic shenanigans. When Philip isn't clowning around, he's a working actor, starring in numerous productions at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival - playing MacB*th, Benedict, Cyrano and Coriolanus, to name just a few. Philip's work on the stage has also been seen to acclaim in Chicago at The Goodman, Steppenwolf, Court, Writers and Chicago Shakespeare Theatres as well as at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC and on tour with Angels in America: Parts 1 and 2. Truly a Renaissance Man and a great time not to be missed. Website at www.philipearl.com
